Carolyne Weil I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 18 years of experience in helping people to improve their quality of life and relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, mood swings, self-esteem, impulsivity, relationship problems, loss and grief, life transitions, addictions, and acute/chronic medical problems. My therapeutic approach is tailored to the needs and goals of each client. I utilize a variety of interventions (including psychodynamic, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems therapies), although I believe that the primary vehicle of change in treatment is the therapeutic relationship. I am also trained as a developmental psychologist and provide a safe, trusting, and supportive environment within which to explore childhood wounds, family of origin issues, and how they impact current relationships and hinder growth and self-actualization. I completed my clinical psychology internship at a Veteran's Administration hospital and am sensitive to the particular needs of veterans as well as active military and reserve personnel. In addition, I am acutely mindful of every patient's concerns regarding privacy and confidentiality.
